Kristen N. Whittaker is a 2019 graduate of Texas A&M University School of Law where she served as the Citations Editor for the Texas A&M Law Review.
During her time at Texas A&M School of Law, Kristen participated in the Texas A&M School of Law Community Development Clinic where she assisted low-capital clients. As a student attorney, she negotiated settlement agreements involving business disputes and attended small claims court.
During law school Kristen also had the opportunity to gain real estate experience as a Legal Extern with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas' Community Revitalization Project. Kristen also worked as a Law Clerk in a firm setting where she assisted attorneys with ongoing litigation projects by researching legal issues and drafting legal documents.
Kristen spent the summer of 2016 at the Dallas County Court at Law #1 as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge D’Metria Benson. There, she attended legal proceedings including hearings, trials, and mediations.
Before obtaining her J.D. from Texas A&M School of Law, Kristen earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Utah. Kristen also has an extensive background and professional experience in classical ballet.
